this lens guard protects the computer face from scratches that would make it hard to read above and under water. it also magnifies the face making it easier to read. one must be careful ing it so that the small tabs that hold it in dont get broken. once in, it is in solidly. if it ever gets scratched up, just replace it.

I purchased this as a back-up to the factory lens guard. That way Ill have it if my lens gets to scratched to be usable in the future. Its a factory replacment and just snaps in.

Rating: Takes a bit to install, but ...

Plastic on these is fairly soft so after 30 dives I had to install another one. Bit tricky to not break off the teeth that hold it in place so you have to be careful.
