Kit works as advertised, and will save you money in the long run. Replacing eight C-Cell batteries every 2-3 dives gets pricey so the $65 dollars is money well spent.
My only complaint is the charger does not have have an indicator to show when charging is complete.

The rechargeable kit provides a great savings over regular batteries. I travel extensively to foreign countries for diving where the cost of batteries is usually much higher. This is critical because the life of C batteries is only about 4 hours.

Charger works fine, but a bit slow NMH batteries would work as well with faster charge rates and no memeory. Lots of life and power in the nickel cads, two long night dives and still going strong.
A bit over- priced, but very convenient to use. The larger spring in the base is much better than the original. Overall Im quite satisfied with the unit.

I purchased the first re-charge kit for my husband after watching him struggle with all the batteries the Light Cannon requires. This makes life so much easier especially during a week long liveaboard trip.

Rating: 120V only! Dont travel with this gear....
Reviewer: Niklas Gummmeson,
This charging kit only works with 110 volt systems (US). This is very weak for an outdoor product. Most serious outdoors people travel for “adventures’. With this kit, don’t travel outside the American continent because it is not capable of 220 volt electrical outlets. Get a proper charger that can handle 110-240 Volt and 50 -60 Hz instead.

Its great to have the recharger for the Cannon. When visiting places, the last thing you want to worry about is if you have enough batteries. It doesnt have a charge indicator, so you have to hope youve got a full charge.

Works good. Just wish it was a little more advanced in terms of knowing when it is fully charged (instead of jsut checking if it is warm after a few hours).

If you are going to own the best light in town, you need to consider the rechargeable Kit. Pack it in your gear and never worry about batteries again. As my son-in-law said, this is really "sweet".

Very handy and convenient considering the cost of batteries and purchasing eight batteries at a time can get costly. This item literally paid for itself in a few months.
Questions and Answers for Underwater Kinetics Rechargeable Kit - C8 eLED / C8 eLED Plus / AquaSun / Light Cannon 100 Lights:
Renee:
Are these compatible with UK light cannon eLEDs? How long is the battery like with those particular lights?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
This should fit with any 8C cell UK light. Burn time using Alkaline batteries is 9 hours on high and 14 hours on low. The rechargable battery will probably be less.
Ashraf:

Hello Doron, you are going to want to get the eled version. The eled light give off a turn white light that does not scare the fish as much.
