On my open water dive class I had to put wetsuit for the first time and it was so tight that I was sure I will feel pretty awkward and have real hard time putting it on, having swim shorts undreneath it because they are so baggy. I wouldnt wear Speedos and allow even the fish to make fun of me, so I bought these Shorts and they are the absolute best thing to wear under a wetsuit. They look very sharp and have SPF50 so if you even wear them when you jump in the water your precious everything is safe from the harmful sun rays. I reccomend these shorts and promise you that you will love them for sure. Probably you will end up buying the top too which is a long sleeve rash guard shirt made from the same material with the same SPF50 protection. If you put both you will be ready for a review on the boat :D:D:D

Although I had to wait a while for them, they where back ordered for several weeks and did not arrive in time for our dive vacation, I tried them out on our first cold water dive of the season. I found them to be very comfortable especially under a few layers of wet suit and look forward to wearing them again hopefully in a bit warmer water.The day we did our dive was chilly in and out of the water. I felt that the skins were probably warmer then a bathing suit in the water and will no doubt dry more quickly between dives making them especially good for boat dives here in New England.

Rating: Rash Guard for Board Shorts

I purchased the rash guard for my son that goes under his board shorts. We have taken trips to So. Cal. and Cabo for him to go skim boarding. He is 16 and will go out from morning until dark. The constant running in wet board shorts would give him a painful rash. He had been wanting a pair so I gave it to him for Xmas. He hasnt tried them out yet, but seemed happy to have them. Too cold right now here in Nor. Cal. to skim. Thank you.

I bought the ONEIL shorts and I am glad I did. They are great under a wet suit and great on the dive boat after the dive. The shorts dry quickly and are very comfortable. On the ride back to my hotel from the dive boat I just put on a pair of shorts over the ONEIL skins and never felt uncomfortable like you do with a wet bathing suit.
