This light was very bright and the high/low option is useful. On my sample, however, the pistol grip did not fit well. I had to place a shim between the grip and the body of the light to keep it from wobbling. I cannot comment on battery life at this point, though the kit does contain a insulator to prevent battery drain during periods of non-use.

I have been diving in the murky waters of the lakes in Montana and this light really brightened things up I tried three other lights prior to purchasing this one and now I have found one that really lives up to the challenge. Though it is a bit pricy, it ran circles around all the other lights I purchased.
