Hello Peter, you can order the mount as a single item or if you need to order the camera also they give you that option. So you can order just the head mount or you can order the head mount with the Hero 3 silver edition.

Hello Peter, there is only one mount bracket on this head mount strap. Do not see where you see two.

Does this head mount get in the way of any of the scuba gear, such as the mask, snorkel, tank, ect.?

Hello Megan, no the camera will sit just above the top of your mask. It should not get in your way of your scuba gear.
