This looks like an expensive underwater flashlight...is it strobe synched, or do you just turn the light on and hope the bright light doesnt scare away whatever it is you are trying to photograph???

This is a standard led video light is typically left on as you are videoing or taking a picture. This is designed to work with the GoPro camera.

What is the physical size of the lighting system? I dont see any specs. on the length of the unit.

Unfortunately the only specs we have are for the hard case. 7.7 x 4.7 x 4.0 in. We do not have info on the length of the arms or diameter of the light.
