I have a Canon 5D MII with 2 110 alpha strobes in an Aquatica housling and would like to get a TTL converter. I noticed that Sea and Sea has two possibilities: Sea & Sea YS Converter/ C for Canon and Sea & Sea YS Converter III Both of these are liste as working with the Canon 5D (6 pin bulkhead that I have on my Aquatica Housing). Could you tell me the difference between the 2 models? Thanks Stephen
Hello Steve, the differences between the two converter is they are made for different cameras. One is for the Nikon brand the other is designed for Canon. If you have any other questions or would like to place an order please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Darrick, According to Sea and Sea, the TTL III IS Compatable with Canon cameras as designated by the "C" after the name: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140378482767&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:US:3160 So I dont think your answer is correct when comparing the Sea and Sea Converter/C for Canon with the TTL Converter III for Canon. The only difference that I see so far is the wider range on the compensation dial and the fact that TTL III does NOT work with YS250 Pro. I am not sure then if the TTL III has 6 pins in it like like the YS Convert/C. Stephen
