Rating: Good, but one problem
Reviewer: Graham F., Wednesday, June 24, 2009
works goodgreat improvement to snapshots when in use. but bewareyou cant use it in darker conditions or at night(unless you have a strobe)the lens partially blocks the built in flash and results in a dark arc across the bottom of the photo.

Rating: Condensation Problem
Reviewer: Thomas M., Wednesday, September 17, 2008
i purchased the mini wide angle lens along with the reefmaster camera. i used the camera and lens extensively during a recent dive trip to roatan. no dives exceeded 90 feet. the camera performed admirably, but the wide angle lens fogged after the third dive and continues to exhibit s of condensation inside the lens housing one month later. not recommended to say the least.

Rating: Small but Effective

The new mini wide angle lens is really a must if youre going to use the SL320 under water. Without the lens, the shooting angle is really too small.
Pros: Inexpensive, small, increases shooting angle by more than 40%. Comes with neoprene cover.
Cons: The lens "pops on" and off. Its not held in place by a bayonet connection or screw in. Im glad it has a safety lanyard because while the connection is really tight now (making it hard to get on and off), I can see this wearing down with time and the lens falling off.
There is no lens cap or other means of protecting the lens except with the neoprene cover for the front. They give you a leather pouch to carry it in. (useless under water).

Rating: Must Have
Reviewer: Della H., Thursday, August 09, 2007
This lens is just perfect to get great quality pictures for the novice photographer like me! The extra 20 degrees of field helps capture amazing shots you wouldnt believe could come from such a small lens. Its easy to attach and detach, even underwater!! A must have for the Reefmaster Mini.

This is be a standard product on all the cameras it fits. I rarely take it off, and usually regret it when I do.

Have tried it on land but not in the water, the only thing I dont like is that there is no definitive "snap" when the lens is properly seated or has been fully disconnected.
