Rating: A must get for your underwater camera housing
Reviewer: Lindsay S., Monday, September 03, 2007 - View all my reviews
The weights make your camera stay with you and not want to float away. If your camera housing doesnt need all four weights, you have extras in case something happens. It is a must have if you are planning on bringing your camera diving with you.

Rating: Buoyancy Kit not needed
Reviewer: Michael Der, Tuesday, September 19, 2006
If you are using an SD600 with a WP-DC4 case you dont need a Bouyancy Kit. You also do not need one with the SD500 and its diving case. Neither was positively bouyant and I cant imagine what would happen that would make them positive.

Rating: Important addition to your housing
Reviewer: Mike F., Thursday, July 31, 2008 - View all my reviews
This is a very important addition to your housing purchase only if you dont want you camera to float up in the way all the time. The weight kit allows you to get the camera neutral in the water and that helps keep it out of the way.

Rating: Photo Fun!
Reviewer: Kip Nead, Monday, September 18, 2006 - View all my reviews
What fun! It was great to be able to use all the features of our camera underwater. The case was a perfect fit and the pictures were thousands time better than with the disposables we used before we got the housing.

It was really nice not to have my camera floating about! It is so nice having a camera properly weighted. Makes your picture taking experience so much more enjoyable.

Rating: They Work!
Reviewer: Kyle N., Monday, June 16, 2008 - View all my reviews
....but are kinda awkward. You think Canon would have included these with each case and/or came up with a more integrated solution.

Rating: Not Good with Strobe
Reviewer: Randal White, Tuesday, August 07, 2007
These work if you are using only the camera housing with no strobe. If you want to use a strobe there is no place to use these.
