My wife has an implant (a small rod) for a hearing aid - just back from her left ear. Her mask strap irritates this rod, causing a skin rash. Would this mask "miss" the area just back of her ear? Anyway I could purchase this on approval?
Unfortunately no. In fact this strap, which is made specifically for the Full Faced Ocean Reef masks would probably hit MORE of the area around here ears than a traditional scuba diving mask strap.
Glacier Strap (code OR002902)
The Glacier Strap is designed for low temperatures and extreme condition dives. It is made of HNBR
compound rubber and is very stable (with elasticity and tearing resistance) at temperatures lower than
-10º C. HNBR has a very high resistance against aggressive chemicals and solvents. The design of the
strap allows for comfortable adjustment, ease of removal, and high tech performance.
(Used with any Neptune Space mask, comes standard with the Neptune Space Predator)
