Rating: BEST CHOICE IN ANTI -FOG
Reviewer: JACOB W., Saturday, April 07, 2007
I have been previously using a type of wax stick anti fog purchased in hawaii by a private brand. It worked great for only a single dive but if second dive taken within the day or just to snorkel for a bit it was not as effective as first application. So after awhile I decided to try something new. After looking at a few different brands, reading reviews I decided to try the MCNETT Sea Gold anti-fog. After searching for the best deal I found scuba.com to have the best overall price with shipping plus looked more reliable than other websites. I purchased the gel form and recieved it within 4 days of purchase. I found Sea Gold anti-fog to be much easier to apply than the wax stick I previously used. Sea Gold also lasted twice as long with more dives without constant application like other anti-fogs it also cleans the lens better. Until someone proves theres a better product MCNETT Sea Gold will now be my choice for diving and snorkeling. And Scuba.com will now be my choice for my diving and snorkeling needs

Rating: What a difference
Reviewer: Evan Stubbs, Sunday, October 29, 2006
Im an old fashion diver. Spit works just fine. Why waste money on needless goo? On a whim, I gave Sea Gold a try when I was in LaPaz. What a difference. With spit, I had to clear my mask at least a couple of times during the dive. With this stuff, no such problem. Tried it again on a recent trip to Cancun/Cozumel. This stuff works nice. The only concern is that I had to apply it before each dive and I never really knew how much to apply. Im sure I wasted some of it, so the means to apply this stuff could be better designed.

Rating: Fantastic!
Reviewer: Barbara G., Friday, June 08, 2007
Im not sure how this performs underwater, but it suits my needs perfectly. I use this on my goggles while playing paintball/airsoft. I wear glasses and it seems that after running for 5 minutes, my glasses and goggles always fog to the point where I have to stop playing. Not anymore. I recently played for 4 and a half hours straight with absolutely no fog issues, and I only applied this Sea Gold Anti-Fog once! To top it off, that day it was over 80 degrees outside!

Rating: Sea Gold is #1
Reviewer: Michael Bove Instructor, Thursday, August 24, 2006
I have used many different brands of mask defog over the years and always find myself coming back to Sea Gold. I like to keep mine in my BC pocket. This defog is thicker than any other brand. I find that if any water gets into the other brands, the defog becomes a useless, watery soup. The Sea Gold will hold up, even if water gets in the bottle. Be careful, a little dab will go a long way.

Rating: Anti fog
Reviewer: Chris Wetzel, Friday, August 22, 2008 - View all my reviews
This anti fog does exactly what a gel anti fog is supposed to do...keeps the fog off the lenses. I did apply some at the surface after my mask had been wet and it still worked. I believe this stuff works just like all the other gel anti fog applications and I would give them 5 stars as well. This is a convienience item that I would order every time I make an order with scuba.com

Reviewer: Linda B., Sunday, July 27, 2008 - View all my reviews
Best defogger Ive used, doesnt burn my eyes like others do even the ones that say they are gentle to the eyes. I normally have a terrible problem with my mask fogging and had to wash my face with bar soap before dives, and was unable to use any sunscreen just to keep from fogging with other products, but now my mask stays crystal clear and my eyes dont burn

Rating: Hot Head
Reviewer: Dennis Weisgram, Tuesday, February 20, 2007 - View all my reviews
For some reason my body temperature runs a little hotter then most people and I can fog up a mask in seconds. I’ve used every kind of anti-fog application, but still became an expert at flooding and clearing my mask to get rid of the fog. When I tried Sea Gold, it worked. I can go on two or more dives on only one application.

Rating: Works great,. Easy to keep in a BC pocket
Reviewer: Scott Michael, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 - View all my reviews
I got this free when I bought my XS Scuba mask bag. It works as well as any quality mask anti-fogger. Because its a gel and in a squeeze bottle I can keep it in my BC pocket for touch-ups if needed. Ive yet to find a McNett product that I didnt like.

Being down 60 feet in 40 degree water and having your mask fog every time you try to neutralize the pressure in the mask by blowing out your nose. Cold Surface + Warm Air = Fogged Mask First Time using a MCNETT SEA GOLD ANTI-FOG and Im loving it!

Once you use this defogger, youll be hooked. It works wonders, providing complete clarity down deep, even lasting for two or three dives after application. Other defoggers ive tried just dont compare.

Rating: Sea Gold Is The Reason To Toss Out Other Defogs
Reviewer: Michelle C., Monday, July 30, 2007
The Sea Gold defog is a gel that really lasts. I have done several 90 minute lake dives and Sea Gold lets me keep focused on teh dive, not flushing my mask to see the underwater sights.

Im new when it comes to diving so I really havent tried out much yet. I remember growing up and trying to keep a clear mask playing around in the pool. This is so much better.

Ive been using this defog for years now, both in cold and warm water. If its put on before a dive on a dry mask, you will never have your mask fog up.

Anti Fog gel worked but be prepared for your eyes to sting a bit. We found that spit worked too, just not as well. BVI snorkelers
