Do you sell extra orings for this camera?
One of the advantages of this Sealife camera is that the o-rings do not need silicon or replacement. But in answer to your question, Yes, there is a spare housing O-Ring for the DC1400. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-516/069088/Sealife-Housing-O-Ring.html And for the SeaLife Diginal Pro Flash (SL961): http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-516/069807/Sealife-Spare-Replacement-O-Ring-for-the-Sealife-SL961-Digital-Pro-Flash-Strobe.html
I am interested in the "Pro" set...on the other websites I have been comparison shopping on, the set includes a flash diffuser-I dont see that in the listing here-could you confirm if it is included in this set? Thanks!
Will be ordering the Sea Life DC1400 pro kit from you. Sea Life customer service tells me the camera comes with a diffuser but not the the strobe. Do you sell the diffuser (part # SL9618)for the strobe (SL961)?
Can I buy the sealife 1400 camera from you and use the housing and other accessories included with the 1200?
Hello Neal, all of the accessories will work between the DC 1400 and DC 1200 except the housing the housing for the DC1400 will not work for the 1200. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
My husband already has this camera but lost the housing and other accessories. Can I order this without the camera? How?
Your advertisement states "Fast shutter response time - as fast as 0.1 seconds and quick start up". When I tried it out in the housing with the flash, there is quite a lot longer delay. Am I doing something wrong? Also, do I need the optional diffuser with the new, remodeled flash?
The shutter speed and the recycle time are 2 different things. The shutter is what captures the image when you press the button to shoot a picture. The recycle time is the time it takes the camera to prepare to shoot another image. This can be affected by the strength of the battery, the flash being turned on, and the number of shots in a short period that have been taken in succession.
