GoPro live up to its name. Its a great video camera. Awesome quality, and light.
However, the batter is cranky. A few times, I was charging for hours yet the batter never fill to full. I realize there could be a glitch. You have to remove the battery and put back, then charge it.
Buying from scuba has been a great experience. It delivered to Singapore in a week!

Really designed well
Picture quality is great on video and stills
Cons: short battery life
But make sure to get a very large memory card, your gonna need it at 1080p resolution
Overall, wipes the floor of the competition!

I started diving in 1972 took my first open water in Georgan Bay in Ontario Canada ,it was May 24th the water temp was 34 F still some ice in the Bay.Since then I have had no experence with taking pictures underwater. This will all change now that I have a brand new Gopro Here 3 Silver camera.I will be going to Roatan for two weeks of diving (my 5th trip). I have been testing the camera around my home and nabourhood both still and video shots.When I put the video and shots up on my 47" flat screen I was blown away what defination and clarity. I am now looking forward even more to my Roatan trip.

Amazon will verify all billing and shipping information and display your shipping costs. The difference between the Silver and Black are the Black comes with the Wifi Remote that the Silver does not and the Black has 1 more MP of definition.

Hello Jimmy, the Gopro is a little more compact then the DC 1200. With the Gopro does more video then stills. You have to cut and paste the picture from the video. But the DC 1200 is no longer made by the manufacture the new version is the DC 1400.
