I bought this camera to use when snorkeling or scuba diving and it worked beautifully! Both pictures and videos underwater came out great! I am very pleased with this camera and the price was a good value!!

Rating: where did my battery go...
Reviewer: James M., Wednesday, April 04, 2012
Solid pictures, lightweight, portable, durable and easy to use. My only strike against the camera is that it’s a batter hog and I got little to no notice that the battery was drained. On two different dives the camera stopped working because of the batteries being dead and I missed a few great pictures as a result. Be sure to change regularly because the low battery indicator does not seem to give much of a read...

Rating: Nice compact digital camera / some helpful hints
Reviewer: Kelly McBean, Friday, October 28, 2011
i recently bought a sealife reefmaster mini2/9.0 megapixel camera to take on my dive trip to curacao. this camera is very easy to set up with new format menu. i was able to capture some very nice photos. some helpful hints for this camera. 1)purchase rechargeble batteries with charger. i was able to make 3 dives a day taking lots of pictures and still have battery life and the end of the day.this camera runs on 2 aaa batteries.2)rinse camera in fresh water and end of your dive day and let dry overnight.3)do not open camera door until the next mourning to replace with 2 new aaa recharged batteries to aviod getting any water s into battery compartment.4)i found that the camera added to much red in dive mode on my photo prints,i would use snorkling mode only, this adds only a slight red tone to the picture. i had to remove lots of red color when i had my pictures developed.5) i added a 4gb digital card to the camera that will allow 3600 pictures, more than plenty for me.6)the wide angle lens with float strap made this a complete package that will last me for years to come. hope this helps you all, happy diving.

Rating: Great camera, but photos come out dark
Reviewer: Keith A., Thursday, December 15, 2011 - View all my reviews
A great camera for the price. Solid, sturdy and compact. However, the photos I took came out a little dark. Of course, I think you need a light to really do it right - but my dive partner had a camera too, without a light and his photos came out much brighter. Overall, for the price, its a good buy.

Rating: Its a good deal.
Reviewer: Shareen P., Sunday, November 27, 2011
I bought this camera to dive with, but didnt want to spend $200. For the price, its easy to use and takes good pictures diving. The only issue I had was that after each dive you have to wash it off and dry it, and then make sure to try to turn it on again before you dive again. Almost every single time it says "card error" and wont take pictures. You have to open it up, play with the batteries by taking them out and putting them back in and that usually fixes it. If you dont, it wont take pictures while you dive. The pictures I took I color corrected on the local Walgreens website, and they are fabulous.

Rating: Awesome camera, great pictures underwater and video too....
Reviewer: Gary Lanier, Wednesday, September 07, 2011 - View all my reviews
i want to start by saying this is my second purchase. i own the original model an love it. as a family we all scuba dive, 2 teens that have been diving since age 10 now 16. so originally i bought one as a if they it we wont be out $1200. but it actually takes better pics than my mich more exspensive camera. its easy to use as well. however, when i purchased this new cam just before our recent trip to the fla keys, the camera flooded completely!! it was correctly setup it just did. and they ( the manufacturer ) sent me a new one without question! great customer support! however, if i didnt have my original camera i would have missed my sons 16 th birthday dives... my replacement works perfect, 8 dives in!

Rating: Sealife Reefmaster Mini 2
Reviewer: Jose C., Tuesday, August 16, 2011 - View all my reviews
I took my camera diving on an 85 dive for the first time and water got in it so it stopped working. I checked the seal and made sure it was correctly in place as instructed by the user manual. To get it serviced, I had to ship it to SeaLife, I had to pay for the shipping. It has been a week and I have not heard back from them on what they are doing to the camera. I hope they replace it.

Rating: underwater/overwater camera review
Reviewer: justin cerelli, Tuesday, July 12, 2011
I purchased the mini 2 9.0 megapixel underwater camera for a trip to grand cayman. The camera did very well above the water as well as underwater. The underwater was a little tricky since I ended up with a lot of blurry pictures. I am not sure if that is due to movement underwater or difficulty staying still to take the picture. The camera took good video as well under water and above water. The screen is a little difficult to see at times to determine what you are taking a picture of. For the price very good camera

Rating: Sealife Reefmaster Mini 2 9.0 Megapixel Underwater Camera
Reviewer: William Bell, Wednesday, July 06, 2011
Plus: I wacked it against a boat (by accident) and it survived. Minus: The memory card became unseated and I didnt know until I was on a dive and the 9M onboard memory ran out. Plus: very portable and easy to aim and shoot. Minus (sort of): all underwater cameras really need a side light to get true colors and eliminate back scatter. Ill buy that next. Minus:Really sucks up the batteries requiring a dry place and care to change them out. Overall good value (what you get for the price).

Rating: Not worth the money
Reviewer: Nancy Castro, Monday, May 23, 2011
this has not been a good first camera purchase for me. on my vacation to curacao i did of nine dives. i was able to get pictures for two out of the dives due to the camera using up the battery life quickly. the camera uses up the battery life quickly on just one dive. in order to get nine dives worth of pictures i would have had to purchase nine new set of batteries. the only thing i could say it was not hard to figure out the features and easy to travel with. i hope scuba.com can exchange this camera for one with a better battery life. i will on the results.

SCUBA.COM TECH TIP:
It is highly recommended you use lithium AAA batteries with the SeaLife Mini 2 Camera.
