Rating: Unerwater Housing
Reviewer: Peter Bell,
This is the first underwater housing Ive had the opportunity to use and I was thoroughly pleased. The housing was easy to use and the controls were easy to operate underwater. The buttons are user friendly and the zoom control is also easy to operate. I dove to a depth of 90 ft with the housing and it performed just like advertised.
The only problem I had was when I left air conditioning for the humid tropical climate. The lens fogged over and I had to do some quick cleaning before we neared the water.
Overall, this is a very good product and I rate it with 4 1/2 stars.

Rating: underwater Sea and Sea digital camera
Reviewer: jacky carlson,
Actually I ordered the Sea and Sea 6meg underwater dig camera. It was great! Of course it would have been better had I read the directions more thoroughly, but in typical teacher fashion, I skimmed them. Having paid no attention to the addition of the dessicant, my lens was fogging up and my viewer was blurry. I was ready to sink the camera after missing an extraordinary shot of an octopus in full view, changing colors!!!! My husband then suggested I re-read the directions.(Hes an engineer!) What do I know about temperature differential? Im an English teacher. I am a first time user of any kind of digital camera. This camera was easy to use. I did manage to get some phenomenal shots of a foot long spotted drum, which I had only encountered as one that was immature. Also got lots of really cool turtle pics, and a fabulous encounter with a very curious scrawled cowfish.(Usually they scoot away-not this one-must have been attracted to my new camera!) We are serious snorkelers, not divers, and always head to St John where we can walk in anywhere and always find magical wonders! I have used a Sea and Sea underwater camera for about three years, before that, disposables, and figured all the money I was spending on buying film, devloping it, and then throwing away lousy pics, warranted splurging on an underwater digital. I was not disappointed. The folks at Scuba.com were very patient with all of my questions, and my "wait till the last minute to order a canmera panic." I would recommend telling everyone about the dessicant and its importance. The housing was easy to remove. I would also recommend an extra battery when you buy the camera and a 2gb memory. I had little time before the trip and ran around trying to find a compatible battery and bought more memory. I would rate the camera and service 5 stars.
