I purchased this product just prior to a dive trip to Akumal, Mexico. It spent as much time in the water as I did and I was absolutely satisfied with its performance. Deepest dives to 80 feet with no problems. Very happy with the photo quality. I made sure and cleaned the yellow gasket and applied fresh silicon each time I removed the camera. I ended up leaving the camera in the case most of the trip as the controls are very easy to use and I could not see any difference in the picture quality inside or out of the case. The only thing to remember is that if you shoot video the audio will be very muffled.

We had no problems with using the housing. It was very convenient with all the buttons easy to use. Read and follow the user guide, and it should work fine. Everyone liked the pictures we took. Even though its scary at first to use your good camera underwater, it makes packing easier to just bring along one camera and the housing. We did use a separate SD card just in case...

canon waterproof case is super for pool and ocean shots here in florida but is wonderful for outdoor school and sports activities on rainy days too! our first purchase at scuba.com could not be improved - very competitive price, helpful customer service and delivery exactly as promised. ought to be ten stars instead of five!

Tought that it was a good purchase until I took it under water on the second day. Something went wrong and water entered my case destroying my camera.check all that aply before entering the water. Thanks Randy
