Ive been putting off purchasing a snorkel mask for a few years...opting to take my chances that there would be a prescriptive mask available on our trips to cancun and hawaii. Decided to go ahead and purchase one from scuba.com. I ordered it at 4:00 p.m. on a wednesday..and dhl(or fedx?) delivered it at 10:00 a.m. the following day (ground shipping). We are located about 100 miles from the company, but even so the speedy delivery was neat! The mask fit perfectly and optically was correct...I liked the one way valve...Swam with quite a few turtles at the marriott waikaloa resort on the big island. I recently purchased a mask, ultra dry snorkel and strap wrapper. I cant say enough about these products. The mask stayed clear and leak free. It was my first time trying a dry snorkel. I loved being able to free dive and know that no water would enter my snorkel. These products were everything they claimed to be. The strap wrapper made it very easy to put on my mask without tangles to my hair.

Rating: Leaking purge valve

For some reason the purge valve starting leaking. I tried re-adjusting the mask several times with no success. After about 15 minutes it began operating correctly. Any suggestions as to how to prevent this in the future. other than this one issue, the mask is great.
