without a doubt this is the best purge mask i have ever used! fits great (not for small faces), excellent field of view, and the purge works flawlessly! theres always a lot of controversy over purge masks, but i love them not because you can get rid of water in your mask easier (if you have a leaky mask its more than likely because of improper fit) but because i find it easier to equalize...

I love it ...very good for large face..I used it on the snorkeling trip to Cuba...worked like a charm...no leaks ... loved purge valve...used that for clearing fog from the lenses..(let some water in, cleaned the lenses with that and purged it out...easy and effective).Very gooooooood viewing angle...very good and easy adjustment with slap strap( one hand operation...easy)This is well made mask...perfect for snorkeling...love it..the best from what I owned before...love it

First-use was a trip to Hawaii last week. Mask was a bit heavy on the head for snorkeling, but would be ideal for scuba. Very slight leakage around nose, but I attribute that to moustache, and occasional use of purge valve took care of the issue. Purge valve does indeed direct bubbles away from field of vision, so they did not interfere with sight. 180-degree view was excellent, and I was able to spot a barracuda lurking to the side, that I would not otherwise have seen without such a wide viewing angle. All-in-all,I rate a thumbs-up for anyone seeking a great piece of gear.

Rating: Great Mask for Snorkeling with.

Rarely does a mask fit me comfortably and give me such a wide field of vision but C-4 really did the trick. The field of vision is so wide it takes a few minutes to get used to from the traditional mask. The purge works like a charm. The dive pro on the ship looked at it for some time and had a lot of questions about it. If you are snorkeling and want the widest field of vision this is the mask for you. I will be taking diving in the near future and will let you know how it reacts at depth.

I bought this to take to the Caribbean on vacation. It worked very well. It didnt leak, was easy to purge and was easy to see through. I am looking forward to having it for years to come.

I actually only used it 4 times, very comfortable, great visability.Some one picked it up on accident, and left me with theirs. So I will be buying another one.
