Rating: Good, but not great
Reviewer: Thomas B., Monday, March 19, 2012
I had thought this would be a good backup to my wireless pressure gauge, and I also needed a compass for a certification course. The price was excellent, but I could have been happier with the console. The pressure gauge was somewhat difficult for my 50-yr-old eyes to easily read, the compass had a large gap between numbering on the dial and the red line, and the depth gauge read 5 ft too deep (as compared with my dive computer and three other divers gauges). However my spouse does not trust her wireless gauge, and she is happy to have this instead.

Oceanic 3 gauges is my back up in just in case of any malfunction dive computers. Oceanic 3 gauges are very simple to read and clear with max depth indicator, air pressure and compass. Diving is serious sport which cannot go without Oceanic 3 gauges!

Rating: A good design thats well made

The good think about this console is you can easily view the compass without losing track of the depth gauge. Flip it over to see your remaining air and depth. Everythings well protected and reasonably compact.

purchased before Christmas for dive trip to Costa Rica - handled the flight - very durable - the dives went off no problem - guages were easy to read and durable - worth the money
