Operating Instructions

Batteries - Use only fully charged AA size NiMH rechargeable batteries of 2400 mah capacity or higher. Never mix batteries of different capacties or charge levels, because at high discharge rate under full power, the weaker battery may be over-drained and even damaged. Do not use regulat alkaline batteries since they do not have the required current capactiy to operate this light under full-power. If alkaline batteries are the only alternative under the circumstances, operated the LED light at 50%.

Low battery - When you notice flickering or the brightness significantly reduced even at full-power, then the battery is low.

Install Batteries

Remove the back hatch by turning it counter-clockwise. If it is difficult to trun, insert a suitable sized straight object, such as a screw-driver or a ball point pen between the two slots in the back hatch and use it as a lever to turn.

Remove the battery door by turning the center knob clockwise.

Insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators. The light will not work if any one of the batteries is inserted incorrectly.

Close the battery door by first aligning the top-facing upward, then press and turn the knob counter-clockwise until the 3 locking tabs are fully extended into the corresponding slots in the battery compartment.
