handy piece of gear i just wish i could replace the trauma shears for my personal ones that are higher quality without sacrificing the permanently attached strap that keeps it from accidently falling out of the kit. in reference to the previous review saying the shears cant cut jack i tested them on a penny and they work just fine...id they can cut a penny in half they can cut a wetsuit which is really all youd need em for afterall.

Rating: Okay product, but not what it looks like

I bought this product for my fiance for Christmas b/c he needed an all-in-one kit to attach to his vest. The "slate" that comes with this product looks like a white piece of board just stuck to the back of the kit, and mine came without anything to write with. I was surprised because it looks completely different than the picture. He likes it anyway, but I probably wouldve gotten something different.

Rivet in sheers not stainless and brakes very easily. Not of the best quality. Real emt sheers can cut a penny! These may have difficulty with paper!
