I loved the Trident Canvas Surf Mat. It worked well in small surf conditions (similar to the old George Greenough style surf mats). However, this mat developed a leak the second day of use and it has been difficult to repair. They are fun, but appear to not be very robust.

Canvas material is too thin - gets small leaks from bumping into rocks. I would pay twice as much for a heavy duty version.

For the money it cost , it works fine, dont be expecting something high end....
