I found that my camera was a bit buoyant, but with the added weight it made it much more user friendly when in the water. I found the using the weight under the camera mount was much better than in the strobe. In the strobe it was to top heavy, so purchase the extra long attachment knob.

I put it on the mount and it helps allot. With out it the camera is buoyant and is always floating above me. With the weight it stays neutral and I don’t have to search above me every time I want the camera.

highly recommend. you will also want to get the extra long attachment knob-you will find that the weight is best when attached to camera, not the light.

I tried to not use the weights at first, but what a difference. The camera no longer is in the way and much easier to hold steady. Great buy!
