Rating: Skin Review for Christmas in the Bahamas
Reviewer: Ronald Herrington, Friday, January 22, 2010
i enjoyed the pinnacle bioply lycra skin during the christmas holidays in the bahamas. my girlfriend also had one and we went to the dolphin excursion, as well as snorkeling and to the blue lagoon. we also had a 3mm wetsuit over the skin part of the time, and part not. either way we found was fine.
it never got hot at all in nassau, even during the middle of the day so anytime we went into the ocean water we had something on. er... i meant a skin or wetsuit on. )
the skin was very easy to get on and off. i think i liked that most about it. i had never worn one before and this one was really perfect. it cleaned up easily in the bathtub. then i just hung it up on a coat hanger to dry. if you know how humid it is there, you can appreciate the fact it dries very well!
the skin folded down to almost nothing so i see no downside to it at all. as far as i am concerned it was perfect. i recommend it to all.

I really like this skin. I also have the standard Pinnacle Lycra skin. The bioply has the softer interior and is ideal to be worn under your thicker exposure suits. In terms of a tropical water skin, however, I prefer the standard Lycra over the Bioply Lycra. The liner makes it hotter and the material makes it harder to slip on. The standard Lycra is silky smooth and slips on with no problems. Both are high quality and great purchases.

Pretty nice. Good quality construction. A little heavier than I had hoped.

Really warm skin. Use it under my 3mm because I always get cold. It is perfect. Makes putting on your wet suit easier. I love it.
