Rating: Excellent warm water suit
Reviewer: Lori Riesenberg, Thursday, September 03, 2009
I just did 11 dives in Cozumel with this 1/2mm suit. It was perfect for the warm water and for protection from stuff down there. It has pretty heavy duty knee pads, unlike other thin suits. It is also cut for a woman! The sizing is exactly right, so follow the chart on this one as far as dress size, not the weights/heights. Surprisingly, the body of this fit me pretty well, and I am tall and have a very long body. If you are short waisted, it may be too long, or it just wont have to stretch as much. Every night I rinsed it out in the hotel room and hung it to dry, and it was perfect in the morning. Doesnt take up a lot of space in the suitcase. My son and husband have the unisex front-zip Henderson polypropelene jumpsuit, which I also tried. This suit is MUCH better for womens shapes, and warmer. You will be happy with this suit.

i would highly advise anyone looking for the absolute best wetsuit on the market to seriously consider this product. the fit and comfort is absolutely amazing! my first use of the suit was in a quarry dive at around 50ft. had no problems at all with body warmth. lets face it, if you want the absolute best in wetsuits by a henderson!!

Rating: Perfect for layering or tropical diving
Reviewer: nancy schmidt, Sunday, May 24, 2009
We were planning a trip to Kauai and mostly always dive the South Pacific so used this suit to layer under our 3/2 wetsuits. It worked great not bulky and kept us warm for 60 minute dives at the island of Niihau, the best diving on Kauai. Also plan on using on our next trip to Grand Caymen...should be perfect for warm weather diving. I had read many reviews before ordering and also called your HELP line to comfirm my choice. Rating: Perfect for St. Thomas
Reviewer: Roger V., Monday, May 04, 2009
I could not have chosen a better dive suit for our visit to St. Thomas during April. It was just the right weight for my taste and looked great too. It was extremely comfortable both in and out of the water. Im hard to fit (extra small), but this suit did the trick just right.

Rating: Henderson 0.5 Microprene
Reviewer: Frank S Jackson, Friday, January 23, 2009
I bought this suit for warm water use but specifically because it said "Henderson". This is the third Henderson I have purchased and they have all been great. They fit well and last. I dive mostly in the Caribbean and occasionally in Hawaii so a 0.5 is all a diver really needs. What I like best is the every year, in late fall to winter, I have the opportunity to dive fresh water that has drastic temperature changes with depth. Therefore I wear the 0.5 and simply slip the 3mm or 5mm/6mm over it. Its great and adaptable.

Rating: Chip

Awesome lightweight suit. Protects the skin like a lycra suit, but also give a little thermal protection. This is the second Microprene suit Ive owned. The first lasted about 10 years(I do about 80 dives/year), so it is very durable. I would recommend to anyone.

Rating: Very comfortable
Reviewer: Pattarapong R., Wednesday, April 25, 2007
It perfectly fits on me. I can move around without having any stiff feelings. The only cons is my neck skin seems to be scratch or burn every time I go for a dive. Its either the collar is new or maybe its just simply sun burn.

Rating: 10 days in diving in Jamaica

The jump suits were sweet. They were very comfortable and easy to get into. Just the right amount of exsposure protection for tropical dives. As well as providing protection from the sun and criters. We like the long suits because you dont end up with a farmers tan.

Rating: Uncomfortable around the neck.
Reviewer: Daniel D., Friday, January 05, 2007 - View all my reviews
Scuba.com has a good price on this suit. However, my wife didnt like the fit around the front of her neck. She also thought that the suit was too stiff for being the thinnest availabe, 1/2 mm. She went with a competititors front-zip that was more comfortable around the neck and easier to move about in. The shape and physical fit of it was also more attractive. However, the cost was about $50 higher. Oh well, when shes happy, Im happy.

Rating: Henderson Fits
Reviewer: Jesse Dehorty, Sunday, November 26, 2006 - View all my reviews
I am short waisted and Henderson Jumpsuits fit me perfectly. I wear a size 8 which is tight but not uncomfortable, but I can also wear their 10 which has some slack but still fits to my body. The 1mm is GREAT for any warm water area where you want protection from sun, jelly fish etc. But, if you are cold natured like me and the 83 degree water feels shocking when you first jump in, its not but a moment and you are warm from the Henderson!
