other than price, whast the major difference between, scuba pro, everflex and Henderson aqua lock.??? I am a lg. short. do both have my size and are they fast drying?
I got the Scubapro Everflex 5/4 mm and found that the suit did not fit. I could not get the back zipper, which zips sideways zipped without someone helping me. The suit was a little tight. I have Henderson Thermaxx in a M 3m, and it fits good, and the straight back zip is great, no problems zipping it. I am 5-8 to 5-9 in height, and a chest between 40 and 41. I weigh 160 lbs. Should I try the ScubaPro in L?
Im looking at your 5mm suits for my wife and I. I am 62"/210lbs, she is 56"/125lbs. both athletic builds. I have an extra long ape index, wide shoulders, 35" waist. what sizes do you recommend for us?
Hello Ken, when you are sizing a wetsuit or dive skin. The two most important measurements are going to be your chest/bust and waist. Height is a secondary measurement and weight is the last measurement you take into account. If you are long in the core than you would be looking at one of the tall version.
I am a male and am trying to size the 5/4 EverFlex Steamer and I seem to fall in between sizes. My measurements are as follows: Height - 70", Chest 38-1/2", Waist 32-1/2", Hips 36" and Weight 155 lbs. Can you advise as to what would be the most appropriate size for me to purchase?
the lake where i swim goes down to about 53-55 degrees in winter. im in for about 2 hours at a time. my bare 3mm leaves me shivering for hours afterwards, but Im nervous about losing the flexibility of the thinner neoprene for swimming. will this be sufficiently warm and flexible?
Sorry asked this by mistake under the women`s one. Just did my measurements: 5.11, chest 39, waist 36-38, hips (below the abdominal fat pad) 34, not sure if large round is a better choice than large. I like a very snug fit to minimize water circulation and rather have difficulty putting it on dry.
Ive been looking for a 5mm suit but am having a hard time finding anything that fits. I have a ScubaPro Profile 2.5 which fits me perfectly. It is a M/40 female. I like the concept of the ScubaPro 5/4 Everflex Steamer but not sure if the fit would work for me. What would you recommend? Im 57" with a 34" inseam (all legs short torso), 33" chest, 261/2" waist, 35" hips and athletic.
Hello Ann, if you already own a ScubaPro suit you would be looking at the same size. This suit would just be thicker. When you are sizing a wetsuit or dive skin. The two most important measurements are going to be your chest/bust and waist. Height is a secondary measurement and weight is the last measurement you take into account.
I has become an impossible feet finding a wet suit that fits. I am 5-9, my waist is 33 inches and my chest is 47 inches. Even a 2XXS is not suitable. Will scuba pro make a custom wetsuit that will fit my build?
Hello Paul, not sure if they do custom suits like you need. But if you go to http://www.scuba.com/resources/repair_info.aspx#alter that will list a few places in the country that do make custom suits.
