Im deciding between the soul i3 and the lotus i3. I am a new diver and this is my first bcd. Which one should I choose and why one over the other Also, is a back float device or a all around air device the better choice? Im a size small. Thanks, Amy
Id like to know the weight (for packing) and denier of these Seaquest models ASAP please: 1. Passport 2. Zuma 3. Lotusi-3 4. Dimension 5. Libra Thanks! Susan
My stepdaughter is getting certified this June. I want to get her a BC that will do a good job for her. She is not a Barbie doll girl, and we are having a hard time finding a BC to fit her. She has a "spare tire" and that is what makes fitting difficult. Would the Lotus i3 be a good jacket to fix our problem?
What is the inherent buoyancy of the Soul versus the Lotus BCD? Which one would be best suited for travel to both Caribbean waters & more temperate (Pacific)?
The Lotus i3 is the good choice. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-4/006882/Aqua-Lung-SeaQuest-Lotus-i3-Womens-Scuba-BC.html
The Lotus i3 is the latest installment in our fine line of ladies' BCs. It is a back inflation BC with an integrated i3 inflation / deflation system that is designed and styled just for women.
The Wrapture™ Harness System not only hugs the contours of the female body providing superior comfort and stability, it also supports the scuba cylinder in a way that has never been more comfortable to the diver
Single touch control for both inflation and deflation. Lift up to inflate, push down to deflate. What could be more simple?
The integrated i3 control system provides a single touch control for both inflation and deflation
Flat e-valves are very streamlined and effective. They are also 'one-way' which keeps water out
The multiple dump features means that when you depress the i3 lever, all of the flat e-valves open at once! No more reaching for the wrong valve
Custom backpack is thin to keep cylinder close to your center of gravity and efficiently distributes the cylinder weight
The Wrapture™ Harness System works in conjunction with the shoulder swivel buckles (patented) to prevent ride-up and support the weight pockets
The patented SureLock™II weight system provides a simple, single pull release. Loading is as simple as insert and 'click'
Pull down oral inflator is easy to deploy and stow
A strong retractor band is used to pull in the sides of the bladder while deflating keeping you streamlined
An adjustable chest strap can be raised and lowered on a rail system
HP and MP hose routings through the back keep your entire kit low profile thus minimizing drag
