I havent had a chance to use this in the water yet, but from the design of the mask clip, I can say that it is better than the one I lost. The clip actually latches in place once you put it over the mask strap. I bought this snorkel because I lost one that just clipped over the mask strap and it fell off somewhere during a dive. It appears to be a sterdy built snorkel.

Great snorkel and it was dry.
I didnt like the connector to the mask setup. The plastic connector has slightly sharp squared edges that can rub your face if moved out of the ideal position. If you are taking off your mask from time to time in bounding water it can be irritating.

Rating: Decent snorkle
Reviewer: Robert Beagen,
Keeps the water out for the most part, mouthpiece is comfortable. The clip for attached it to goggles is weak, popped off with a moderat tug in the water and went right to the bottom of the sea.

Hello Megan, Thank you for your inquiry The Ocean Quest Pacific Totally Dry Snorkel is probably the best snorkel on the market for a diver or a snorkeler. It easily attaches to the mask strap on the left side of your head and as long as the mouthpiece stays in you mouth, it will not allow water to enter the snorkel. With this feature, clearing the snorkel is not necessary. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-39/039507/Ocean-Quest-Pacific-Totally-Dry-Snorkel.html If you have other questions, need help or would like to place an order, please contact SCUBA.com by calling 800-247-2822 <> 949-221-9300 or e-mail us at: info@scuba.com

Do you have snorkels that go up the front of the face and nose instead of the side of the face? This is a request from my swimmer daughter. Marilyn
