I use my snorkel more than most people. Whenever I am on the surface...either before decent orat dives end I breath through my snorkel. When I go down, however I do not like having the thing klunking off my head or causing drag. So, this foldable snorkel fit the bill perfectly. It breathes easy, clips on and off the mask effortlessly, and can be contorted to fit into just about any BC pouch. The only thing I might fault it on is clearing. Its not the easiest snorkel I ever cleared. I end up reaching up, bending the top over and purging that way. If you snorkel on your trips as well as dive you might want to consider this...or take another snorkel for those occasions. But for diving and emergency purposes this thing is great.

Rating: Very clever design, Compact, Functional

This is the most compact foldable snorkel on the market. It rolls up to about 3" in size. The top of the snorkel has two small slots that hold onto the snorkel holder. The snorkel does roll flat, but the sides are reinforced to keep it open when unrolled. There is also a purge valve on the bottom for easy clearing.
I dive with a long-hose regulator, which is not compatible with wearing a snorkel. Rarely do I need a snorkel on my dives, but if I ever did (choppy waters) I just pull it out of my pocket. Many people say leave the snorkel on the boat, but why not carry it with you in a pocket...you wont be sorry.

Rating: Great for those who hate a snorkel being in the way.

if your intention is to have a snorkel in case of an emergency but hate having it in the way all of the time, this is a perfect solution. rolls up quite small and fits well in your bc pocket. should you have a need, you have it with you. the only drawback to this "rollable" snorkel is that you have to have it connected to your mask strap while in use or it it will flex and into the water.

Rating: Pocket Snorkel

My husband & I each purchased the Tilos foldable snorkel and have found great comfort with its use. Because it fits nicely in our pockets while underwater, we are never without a snorkel when needed at the surface.
