We purchased 2 Absolute dry snorkels and they truly are outstanding. We found that they met our needs for snorkeling and divng! Unfortunately the yellow snorkel lost the piece that covers the valve at the top of the snorkel durning my last dive. We are not sure what occurred but I am confident that it was a fluke. The other absolute dry snorkel continues to opperate excellently. We highly recommend this snorkel

Absolutely Dry is exactly what it means. THis snorkel does have a little bit large volume. Takes 2 breaths to clear it completely but once clear, never leaks and if you accidently submerge, it does not leak and you know because you can draw no air...back on the surface, it opens right up. This is a great snorkel in my opinion.

The little float thingie at the top of the snorkle, seems to have a slow reaction time. When snorkling, as I dive down a small amount of water SOMETIMES gets in the snorkle. Not to say its not a supereb product, it is much better than any snorkle Ive used previously.

The sherwood snorkel is made for the person concerned about water getting into the mouth,m and going down the wrong "pipe". I t takes all the fear away, so that you can enjoy the water, ever when going a little deeper than you expected. K Sandman

Ive never had more than a sip of water enter at any time. If any water does enter you can easily clear it by reaching up and closing the top valve while gently exhaling. Much better than any of the other dry snorkels Ive tried.
