Rating: Good Snorkle

I followed the Scuba.com recommendation and am pleased with the snorkle. It does what its supposed to do. Forget the "dry" or "semi-dry" hype, youre in the freakin water !!! Lets face it, if you dont do it right, you get a mouthful of water !!!

I found that this snorkel is very hard for me to breath with. It is tapered near the top and I have a hard time drawing in a breath with it. Ive only used it once and will most likely be getting a replacement before next summer.

Rating: Not worth the extra expense
Reviewer: Howard S., Saturday, September 01, 2007
I chose this snorkel because of the easy to clear valve. The valve ended up leaking and I needed to clear the snorkel every 2 minutes or so. Im not happy at all with the purchase. I just needed it for scuba but, if I was to snorkel, I would return it immediately!

This was the first snorkel that i have purchased and i used it on my very first snorkeling trip in st. john usvi. it worked very well and i had absolutely no problems with it. i would highly recommend this snorkel to others, especially beginners.

A snorkel is a snorkel to me but for the money you get what you pay for a average snorkel for a average price.

Rating: Not as good as I had hoped. ..
Reviewer: Shannon Smith, Sunday, September 17, 2006 - View all my reviews
this snorkel did not do well for me. i am a beginner diver and this particular snorkel kept falling over in the pool i was practicing in for class. my instructor had me swim laps up and down the pool to see if i was perhaps ducking my head the snorkel kept getting water in it. it was a bit top heavy. i only used it four times before the mask clasp broke. i am now looking for a new one per my instructors advice.

Bought for a trip in Cabo. Worked great, I have always used cheaper equipment, what a mistake. Snorkel kept water out and was comfortable to use.

No need to use when diving, but when it was used while snorkeling - trips were excellent. Easy to use and comfortable - not rigid which is very important.

this snorkel does what its supose to do vary well. I used it in Kaui in May and had trade winds and white caps all week. It was never an issue.
