This is way better than the silicone ones. I have a silicone one but it was starting to tear apart after taking it off from the snorkel. I got this one cuz I dont want to lose my snorkel in the middle of a dive. Its pretty easy to use and it would last for a while. Its a bit expensive for what it is. You could actually make it from an old wetsuit or something. But a few bucks will save all the work. :)
