This 1/2" to 3/8" adapter is useful on the 1980s model U.S. Divers Conshelf series of first stage regulators to attach standard 3/8" low pressure octopuses/BC hoses to the 1/2" LP port. I was impressed with the overall construction and cost of this item at Scuba.com.
