Questions and Answers for ScubaPro MK25 / G260 Regulator System:
Harland:
I am considering purchasing a new regulator. looking at scubapro MK25/G260, and Aqualung legend LX, and possibly an Atomic ST1 or Z2X. These are all balanced. I believe one is a piston design and the other a diaphram. What is the major difference in performance and reliability? Also which would be a preferred design to go with.

All of these choices are top of the line. Very hard to choose between them. You will not be disappointed with any one of them.
Aimed at technical divers, this system can face any dive situation with rock-solid performances and outstanding reliability. The G260 is a new balanced adjustable second stage featuring metal components for excellent cold water resistance (inlet tube, orifice, inhalation control knob and hose connector). It's high performance makes it a choice for all demanding divers and it will be the natural choice for G250 fans. The new left-right hose attachment option makes it ideally suited for tech diving configurations.
