Rating: Amazing
Reviewer: chris w.
I do a lot of drills, example of one is sharing air, after we debrief I always get the comment that they always want to share my air cause its so smooth and easy to breath from. I tried other regs and hands down this isnt touchable compared to the regs Ive tried, I decided to dive side mount and thought of buying a side mount reg set, but I couldnt bring myself to losing the performance of the mk25 s600, therefore I bought another one. Overall I love these regs and wouldnt change them for anything.

Questions and Answers for ScubaPro MK25 / S600 Regulator System:

  • Kenneth:

How many high preasure ports? How many low preasure ports? I`m a dry suit diver, and I do some salvage work! More ports are better. Ken

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

2 high pressure and 5 low pressure ports.

  • Craig:

What is different about the 2013 MK25/S600 compared to the 2012 versions Thanks, Craig

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Same high performance regulator with minor cosmetic changes and internal improvements.

  • Denise:

What is the difference between blacktech and the standard version? Are there any differences mechanically? Advantages vs. disadvantages?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Denise, this is what the tech offers that the standard version does not. The Black Tech coating is not only for aesthetics, it is also extremely scratch and corrosion resistant. Applied on both the first and second stages, this premium finishing gives a real technical plus to a high performing regulator.

  • Garrett:

How do you put the regulators all together

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Garrett, if you buy your gear from us it will already be put together for you so all you need to add is your tank and water. If you have your gear and need to put it together if you go to: http://www.scuba.com/video/46/How-to-Assemble-a-Scuba-Diving-Regulator.html. That video will show you how to assemble your gear.

  • Dave:

2 questions: (1) when you buy scubapro equipment from a local store, a lot will do servicing for a standard fee, "parts for life". what is your policy? (2) in the options down before adding to cart it says "black" - is that black with chrome as pictured on all black? thanks.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The parts warranty is from Scubapro, not the local dive shop. All authorized dealers will honor their warranty. Our rates can be found at: http://www.scuba.com/resources/ioc.asp toward the bottom of the page.

  • Dave:

second part of my previous question was missed: in the options down before adding to cart it says "black" - is that black with chrome as pictured on all black? thanks.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Dave, this regulator will come just like the picture you see. The housing is black that is why they call it black.

  • Ahmed:

Hi Im so interest to get full mask ocean reef g divers do I need to get this with the mask or not

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Ahmed, to connect the full face mask (FFM) all you need is a 1st Stage. The 2nd Stage regulator is not needed.

  • Ahmed:

Sorry I meant the Redesigned Neptune Space G.Diver Mask with 2nd Stage that is the one I want to get so with this one do I need to get ScubaPro MK25 / S600 Regulator System or not and please advice what else should I get with the mask

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Ahmed, the suggested 1st stage for the FFM is the Ocean Reef SL 35 TX Regulator 1st Stage web link: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-124/033106/Ocean-Reef-SL-35-TX-Scuba-Regulator-1st-Stage..html.

  • Michael:

I currently have a Tusa Xpert RS-460, and have been thinking of upgrading to a higher end reg. Ive been looking at this ScubaPro, and the Tusa 681. Any thoughts on those two, or any reccomendations on another type? Or should I just keep what I have?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Either would be a very good choice. The nice thing is that it's more about personal preference than anything else. Every manufacturer is currently making very high quality, easy to breathe regulators.

  • nir:

Hey I want to know if it is a yoke or a din connection

Arthur  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello, this is a yoke connection.

Newly restyled for 2013, our best-selling S600 is continuously evolving and is in its 5th edition. Timeless design and chrome plated marine grade brass make this high performing system a classic.
Our top performing balanced piston first stage paired with our high performance air balanced second stage; this combination is SCUBAPRO's most popular regulator combination. The S600 truly matches the MK25's characteristics and thanks to its adjustment possibilities, it adapts to all diving conditions and all diver preferences. Ease of breathing is the essence of this system.
The MK25 first stage is our absolute top performer and is a superior regulator thanks to its ultra stable intermediate pressure resulting in an extremely punctual and constantly high delivery of air. The means instant air flow at any cylinder pressure and water temperature for a real carefree dive.
Paired with the air balanced high performance S600 second stage, this system is our top performer.
Balanced flow valve provides constant & effortless air flow.
Diver adjustable inhalation control enables personal adjustment of breathing effort.
Diver adjustable Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) dive/pre-dive control switch and extra high flow exhaust valve account for easy inhale & exhale.
Super-flow hose for smooth air delivery.
Precision moulded, lightweight components and anti-freeze materials provide high corrosion resistance and enhance cold water performance.
