I bought this for my wife after owning my Delta 4.1/FDX-10 for a few years...now I want the Delta 4.2 with MaxFlex hose! It was already a great regulator, with the braided MaxFlex hose it is even better. No complaints!

Excellent product, this is my first Regulator and found it incredible! Maxflex cord is really comfortable and you can dive without worries about damaging sea life and reefs. Simply the best! Also the dry valve allows you to choose the type of air (wet or dry) you wish to breath while diving... I am very happy with this product!

Just wondering if this regulator is corrosion resistant??

All scuba regulators are considered corrosion resistant. Bearing in mind that they need to be rinsed off after use and you never want water to enter the 1st stage.
Does it have a purge button? It looks lk it does but it isnt mentioned.

Is the DVT fail-safe

The DVT is a one-way check valve located between the tank valve and the 1st stage mechanisms. So long as the valve is on and there is pressure in the cylinder, the system is fail safe.
what is the difference between the 4.2 and the 4.1? is there a functional difference?

Hi Randy, The difference is in the connection to the 2nd stage. Delta 4.2 has the comfort swivel on it.
