I have only been in the water once with this reg, but so far so good! The adjustment knob and dive/predive switch are easy to adjust with gloves on. Ease of breathing was great down to 80, no troubles whatsoever.

Based on the information provided by Scuba.com in their product description, I purchased one for myself and my wife. It came with a free octopus, and the first time we used the equipment we both had a "no surprises of the bad kind" experience. I tried to buy all scuba lab tested gear, and can say with my very limited experience that nobody would go wrong buying the Zeagle regulator setup. It arrived set up by Scuba.com experts, and I anticipate a long and happy relationship with the equipment.

Im a newbie diver, so my experience is limited to a few regs. Before buying an envoy deluxe, I tried out Mares and Oceanic. The mouthpiece on the Mares felt small. The Oceanic worked fine, but had a tendency to free flow. With the Zeagle, Ive dived both Northern Cal and Belize without any problems. The venturi control has stopped free flow a couple times, but there really is no noticeable difference when breathing either in the plus or minus position. There is, however, a noticeable difference when opening or closing the adjustable breathing knob. Ive saved much more air with the knob in the closed position (40 min vs 60 min). There is a very slight resistance when upside down, but not really that drastic to consider any issue at all. For the price, I felt this was an astounding value.

We got this regulator for my wife. She absolutely despises wet regulators so we bought this one on a instructors recommendation. Suffice to say, problem solved at a great price. It is really dry, so we added an apollo filtration/hydration system. Now it is hard to get her out of the water.

Be sure to ask who makes this reg. Easy breathing, hi performance, reliable. Environmentally sealed, good in colder waters, too. Use it with your Zeagle BCD.
