What do you need to connect the aqualung airsource to my cressi travel light bc
Hello Imad, this would not work for the Cressi travel light. The BCD connections are different sizes and the corrugated hose is to big for the Cressi. If you are looking for a set-up like that. Then you need to look at the Atomic SS1 octo/power inflator. If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Hi, What do you need to connect the aqualung airsource to my aqualung zuma bc and my dive alert? Do I need an extra shorter hose? or maybe a flex hose? tks
Hello Lis, Thank you for your inquiry! The AquaLung ZUMA BCD only need the complete AquaLung alternate air inflator Airsource. It comes with the longer corrugated manual inflator hose, the longer power inflator hose, the Airsource. Your original ZUMA power inflator unit/corrugated and power inflator assemble is unscrewed from the BCD and replaced with the complete Airsource assembly described above. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-33/035101/Aqua-Lung-Airsource-QD-Scuba-Octo.html If you would like to place an order or have questions about our products, please contact one of our certified Dive Instructors at SCUBA.com by calling 800-247-2822 <> 949-221-9300 or e-mail us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Does Scuba.com sell the adapter rings for the Airsource? Aqualung lists them on their site, but I can not find them.
I just picked up a Dimension I3 today. It still has the standard hose manual inflator but also the I3 inflation/deflation system. Would this work with that BCD? Would this replace or add to that system? I want to also use this as my alternate. Will these work?
Is there a color kit for the Aqua Lung Airsource QD Octo other than red???? if so where can i buy it

I just purchased a Cressi AirTravel 2.0 BCD and use an Aqualung Legend Regulator. Is there an adapter to attach the Airsource to my Cressi BCD for ease of travel and streamlining? Thanks in advance.
Bob, can you elaborate on why it will not fit the Mares Hybrid? Looking at mine and my wifes hybrids (gen 1 & 2 respective) it looks like all the gen 2 needs is a bladder flange gasket and the gen 1 should fit no problem. They look to have the same threads and bladder flange shape (dodecagon). Thanks
The Airsource combines a high-performance second stage with a power inflator. By eliminating the need for a traditional octopus, the diver can streamline his entire system. In addition, unlike a traditional octopus that can drag in the sand or damage coral, you’ll take comfort knowing that the Airsource is right in front of you ready to deliver life saving air in a moment’s notice.
The mouthpiece has been upgraded to Comfo-bite and is much sturdier. The MP hose has been upgraded to flexi hose which is lighter weight and more pliable. The ribbed hose is softer making it easier to pull open the rapid exhaust valve at the top. Both buttons are stronger and more durable.
The second stage valve is pneumatically balanced resulting in unparalleled performance and consistent breathing from start of dive to end. Ideal for use with over-balanced first stages. "Trim Grip" in the middle of the corrugated hsoe allows diver todump air from BC during ascent without removing the Airsource from the mouth. Using a clever bayonet mount, the Airsource quickly and easily separates from the BC at the "Trim Grip". This allows the Airsource to remain with the diver's complete regulator for packing and traveling. Ergononomic design optimizes button placement for ease of use. Soft-touch purge cover is located on the bottom so it won't be inadvertently activated in strong currents. Low-profile, rapid-exhause valve is activated by pulling on the "Trim Grip" or the lower unit. Corrugated hose has clips and recessed areas to accommodate the mp hose.
