I have not had to use the Cressi Ellipse Octo in an emergency but was pleased with it when diving. I am not sure how much the diver adjustable venturi with a dive and pre-dive position actually adds as I did not have free-flow problems with either setting. The octo has a nice compact size, however, the mouthpiece is small which is more a problem with Ellipse regulators then octos as I would never expect to use the octo for a short period of time anyway.

This is a very good product. Very happy with its perforance and size. I would tell anyone to buy this product.
