I did get the quick disconnect. I wouldnt use it though since the pin in the connector looks very fragile, and there is no protection for it when it is disconnected. Lays nice and flat against my BC inflator. I would recommend, since this setup helps keep your octopus from dragging.

Nice product. I bought this with the regulator and the sherwood bc with the secondary regulator integrated into the bc. Works great. Only complaint is that it came pre-assembled with the hosed on the ports with the hoses not in the optimal ports on the first stage for my set up.

i dive mostly in murky rivers and lakes, job related. ing the shadow system was a good move. no worries about slit/mud getting into octo system, with so much bottom work involvement. great piece of equipment!

Very flat & compact, keeps gear light and very trim. Better than the Gensis sidekick, I have them both. Highly reccomend to trim your gear. Add hoseless dive computer and it is really awesom! Happy diving!

I love not having the extra hose out there. It is pretty nice to breath through. Luckly I have not had to use it for real YET but I have tried it out a few times and I like it a lot....
