Leak-free fit is my major concern. I need 2 adult masks: one is for a 130# thinner faced female and the second for a 230# wide faced male. Your guidance would be appreciated.
Your add says this mask is for medium to large faces yet your answer to a question referring to fit says it fits anyone 60 lbs and up. I have a small face and would like to know if you think it will fit me
If you have a narrow face check out the Fusion Jr. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-45/027825/XS-Scuba-Fusion-Scuba-Jr.html
i just pool tested my new mask and think that it is fabi have only concern: i will winter in asia and worry that the rigid plastic connecter between the mask and snorkel might break at some inconvient time. can i order one or two replacement connecters to take with me on the trip?
When I check it out, the price up to 59.9 (formerly 29.9). I regret for not find and check it out early. When could I get such promotion price again, please?
Sir, I I buy the mask with the purge feature and the purge valve breaks do I have to buy a new mask or can I replace the purge feature?
The purge valve itself is a simple silicone flap valve. If it breaks or becomes disfigured within the first year of use, without reason (meaning it wasn't left on a hot dashboard or dragged through the sand or something) it would be under warranty and be replaced. Purge valves in masks go bad very, very seldom. It's infrequent enough that very few retailers will ever carry spare parts for them.
I notice a lot of nice masks do not have the purge feature like this one. Why do some people prefer to just clear and not have purge capability?
The use of purges is completely a personal preference. When purge masks were new they had a bad habit of leaking. The rubber would curl when it got hot due to being left in the sun or in a car and they'd never seal. Some had issues with debris getting in them and leaking. For the most part there is no reason NOT to use one if you like them. They are designed as a convenience.
Do you have this or something comparable in a youth 9-12 year olds ( not little kid) sizes? If not what would you recommend?
