Rating: Nice mask, be careful with the color names
Reviewer: Cristina Rojas  -  View all my reviews
The products was delivered in good conditions and the shippment took few days. The payment process was easy and secure. I give them 4 and not 5 stars becouse the color names for the mask are not the same of the Oceanic "official" web page and I got confused becouse that. The mask does not leak and fit well in my face. After purge the mask I can feel a little bit of water in the bottom of the nose but nothing to worry about I think maybe all the masks could happen the same.

Rating: Oceanic ion 3X Mask limitations
Reviewer: Ray Born  -  View all my reviews
I was looking for a mask with additional ability to see around me. This mask did not meet that expectation. The side vision of the mask is the same as all the other 2 lens masks that I have. Recommend use of a 4 lens mask for increased side vision.

Rating: Worked great but no room for snorkel
Reviewer: Ronald Agee
The other reviews about size confused me. The mask for medium to large faces is an average size mask. This mask worked great on my trip to Grand Cayman. Had to tighten to get the seal and it was NOT unconfortable. There was no room for a snorkel. I dove without one. As usual, the Oceanic Gear worked as expected. I tried to get the CLEAR but got a phone call at work from Scuba.com stating it wasnt available. They told me what they had and I chose blue. Glad they called instead of deciding on their own. Thank Scuba.com!!!

Rating: Oceanic ion 3X mask
Reviewer: Michael C.  -  View all my reviews
Replacement mask for a mask that Ive used for many dives. I tried the mask on in a dive shop not not with the strap. I have a medium large to large face. The mask straps were large (in length) and required me to tighten to the maximum setting to stay sealed to my face. Comfortable mask that seems to be very durable. The webbed strap and rear padding were very comfortable. I would recommend this mask to anyone with a larger face. If smaller than larger medium face order the small version!

Rating: Great Mask
Reviewer: David J P.
Great mask for me. Fits me and I have great vision. My wife ordered the same mask and it did not work for her. She is 115lbs with a small face. The mask was too big.

Water is more dense than air, which makes objects look blurry. A mask provides an air spae in front of the eyes to eliminate distorted vision.

Prior to using the mask for the first time, thoroughly clean both sides of the lens with a nonabrasive liquid detergent, or toothpaste, to remove any residue, then rinse with fresh water.

To prevent fogging during use, rub a 'no fog' solution, or saliva, on the inner surface of the lense while it is still dry, then rinse with water.

Adjust the strap so that it holds the mask comfortably and firmly in position on your face without being too tight or restrictive.

Place the mask on your face and pull the strap over the top of your head.

To clear water that enters the mask, stand up or come to the surface and lift the bottom of the mask away from your face to allow the water to drain out. While underwater, tilt yourhead back and exhale gently into the mask while pressing the top portion with your fingers. Water will be forced out the bottom edge.

To eliminate mask squeeze caused by the higher pressures that are experienced when diving deeper than a few feet, exhale slowly into the mask through your nose as you dive deeper. To equalize pressure in your ears, pinch your nose closed with your thumb and finger and blow gently while holding your mouth closed.

Care and Maintenance

At the end of each day of use, rinse your mask thoroughly in fresh water and towel dry. Do not allow the clear silicone skirt or strap to come in contact with items that are black rubber. This will cause the clear silicone to become discolored. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat.
Ensure that the mask is completely dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry location.
