Rating: Great Mask!
Reviewer: Michael D Fischer, Wednesday, April 11, 2012
The Fusion mask was purchased to replace a silicone mask used since the mid-70s after it no longer made a perfect seal. It was given a burial somewhere in the Caribbean. I was concerned that there was a modern day mask which met the quality, comfort and durability of my previous mask. The Fusion mask exceeded my expectations. Based on materials used, I suspect the durability will be at least as good as my prior mask.

Rating: Comfortable well fitting mask

Purchased for my wife on our recent dive trip to Cozumel. Mask fit very good and comfortable, and water seepage was minimal. She did order the optional nose purge, but said if given the chance to do it again, would not do it.

Rating: Great Fit, Easy to Use
Reviewer: Anny W., Monday, June 20, 2011
I tried on another XS Scuba model mask at a store, so felt comfortable ordering this one online. Very happy with this mask: fitted very well and visibility is excellent. We dived 5 days - no problem with seal or fit. I am glad I bought the padded strap also, avoided hair tangling.

Rating: Amazing Mask!
Reviewer: Bill M., Wednesday, May 04, 2011
i was a little leary of ordering a mask without trying it out for fit. after over 5 hours of scuba and countless more hours snorkeling, i can say i love it - no more tunnel vision or claustrophobic views of a conventional mask. the side windows gives you a great panoramic view without sacrificing style it does not look like an aquarium on your face. the pane seams do split your peripheral view abit but hardly a negative effect. my mask did not have the purge valve. in my opinion, the purge valve is less effective than conventional mask clearing and as another reviewer has noted, may hinder your equalizing. the mask is comfortable, fits great and does not leak at all. if youve never tried a 3-window mask before, treat yourself. great price. six out of five!

Rating: Good for the price but something not quite right
Reviewer: Miriam Z., Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - View all my reviews
I love being able to see to the sides without turning my head although there is quite a bit of distortion at the corners. Something I should be able to get used to.
PROBLEM - I have made 19 dives in this mask and each and every time, it leaks through the top seal. Just a little and usually more at the beginning of each dive. I make sure there is no hair in the seal but it still happens. Its irritating. I read another post about leaking so perhaps this is a design flaw. The one good thing about the leaking is that I am now used to getting salt water in my eyes and no longer need to close my eyes in the ocean. However, I am not happy that I have to put up with the leaking.

Rating: Good peripheral visibility
Reviewer: Paul Falten, Sunday, July 04, 2010 - View all my reviews
Considering the size and shape of this mask it is still a low drag mask. The visibility to either side is very good. My only small complaint is the skirt. It isnt as comfortable as the newer high tech silicone skirts. I do not regret getting this mask at all since I prefer peripheral vision to slight discomfort.

Rating: Great mask!

I dont think that you can beat this mask, especially for the price. It is probably the most comfortable mask that Ive ever owned (I got certified in 1969) and I love the wide view. The purge valve does make equalization a little more difficult but, I feel that this is offset by never needing to clear the mask by other means.

Rating: great pic

I have never purchased a mask before and shopped and read ALLOT of reviews before finally picking this mask. I have enjoyed snorkeling for years but have always done then on vacation "tour" packages and they have been provided by the companies and wanted my own and stop using the rental stuff. We took a cruise this March which included a day in Isle Roatan, Honduras where I got to try out this mask along with my new snorkel and flippers. THIS mask was GREAT! the full view of the lenses kept away the "tunnel-vision" effect many other mask I have rented. They were very comfortable to wear and sealed up on my face extremely well and comfortably. I wish I had bought some anti-fog though. This mask made my snorkeling in Roatan the highlight of our trip. GREAT view through the lens! GREAT PRICE - GREAT buy!

Rating: XS fusion - great mask
Reviewer: Rodger H., Monday, January 11, 2010
This is a great mask and very comfortable. Id recommend the version without the purge valve, the large nose piece collects any drips which are easily blown out. The regular fusion mask is good, but I really like the extra vision from the side panels on a recent dive trip.

Rating: Great vision googles
Reviewer: George H., Tuesday, February 16, 2010
The Fusion 3-window mask is fantastic to let you see movement around you. I would recommend this mask to anyone who dives in dangerous waters. This includes waters where jellyfish, Portugese Man-of-war, or sharks are found. It allows for better peripheral vision and gives greater appreciation of fish moving into your direct path.

Artie:
Do they make replacement straps for these masks? If they do make replacements, how much are they and how do I go about ordering one. Thanks.
