Although the mask is more bulky with the ear cups, they are well worth it to me. I have used the mask on dives down to at least 100ft without any problems. The mask does a good job keeping your ears dry. Equilizing was no problem. My only major concern is using the mask with a hood. I understand there is a special hood made solely for this mask, but I have not looked into it. The only other thing that may bother divers is the noise you may hear from using the mask. You pick up more sounds with this mask.

I got this mask because I was having a horrible time in the pool with my ears. I didnt think Id be able to make it through my open water dives. Thanks to this mask I now have my Advanced Open Water and my ears have never gotten wet. It even worked great during the mask removal drill. The mask and Ear cups cleared perfectly.

I loved the idea of this mask since I have such a hard time equalizing my ears when I dive so I bought it. Nothing wrong with it, just didnt fit my face and it leaked. That is the only down side. I just wish I could convert it to the mask I already had and fit or there were different sizes of masks to choose from.

A dive guide let me try his ear mask while I was diving in Fiji and I immediately knew I had to have one. Ive always had a little trouble equalizing, but discovered that this mask can really make a difference. Its also nice not to have to coax the water out of your ears after each dive.
