Rating: Not bad, Average

This wasnt my first choice, but they were out of my first two picks. The mask isnt bad at all, it does take some time to fit your face, but no leaks. It seems to fog a little more than normal. So i would say this is an avarage mask.

Rating: A Great Mask: Oceanic Shadow Mask
Reviewer: Joshua Russo, Sunday, August 03, 2008
oceanic shadow is truly one of the best mask for scuba diving. with its sleek exterior look and soft, all-silicone feel that hugs the contour of users face. it also gives incredible field of vision, since the glass of the mask is designed to be so close to the eyes. none the less, the downfall for this model is that it seems to fog up easier than other masks due to little distance between the eyes and the mask glass. overall, i rate this mask as top in my personal list. reviewed by: suthiphan snitwongse +66 81 6123321 menn_th@hotmail.com

Fits great. Reduces glare with the black skirt. Just because it fits me doesnt mean it will fit you. Always try before you buy but this one is a good one. I have used several masks over the years and this is as good as any and cheap.

Rating: it gets better with use
Reviewer: Eric Chiang, Monday, November 26, 2007 - View all my reviews
During the first 3 times I used it (snorkeling), there was significant leakage, and no amount of tightening or re-positioning made it any better. It tended to leak through the seam where the rubber is right under the nose. My advice is not to get this mask unless you have a good amount of time to break it in. During my open water training, I noticed it leaking much less, and by the time I completed open water, it almost never leaked. I bought this for myself and the TUSA visualator for my gf, and she has never had a problem, so for someone who needs immediate results, Id recommend the TUSA instead.

Rating: good mask
Reviewer: jonathan manrique, Friday, November 23, 2007
I just both this mask at the beginning of the summer and made about 18 dives with it. It’s very great but the only thing that I don’t like is the plastic buckles on the straps, you fell it when you don’t wear hood. However it is a very good mask. Frameless that mean great side view.

Rating: Oceanic Shadow Mask:
Reviewer: Sharon K., Saturday, October 06, 2007 - View all my reviews
I dont really think I like this mask. Problem is that I really seem to have to suction the mask on my face so that no water drips in. It seems to drip in either through the nose, or the top right of the mask. Later the face just seems so worn out with the suction crease around the face. Also the fabric lycra strap seemed like a cool idea as it would not tangle or hurt the hair, but it takes a long time to dry before you store it away, and if you dont wash it immediately and dry it after your trip, it smells real bad. Hence some minor maintenance is required or your whole bag will smell.

Rating: Good, low volume, comfortable fit
Reviewer: Joshua R., Thursday, September 13, 2007 - View all my reviews
i ordered this mask sight-unseen from scuba.com, which is a little risky with regards to getting a proper fit. i was pleasantly surprised with the mask good seal, comfortable, low volume, good range of vision.

Rating: Good Mask, but you should know...
Reviewer: Albert Storrs, Monday, February 26, 2007
The Shadow mask is an awesome frameless mask. The silicon fits well and the seal is good. However, Ive found that as I come from depth the mask leaks volume out the side where my eye socket is. Its rather difficult to know when this is going to happen as it can depend on the attitude of your head in the water as well as facial expression.
