Great locator for nite dive, me and my buddy came up from a nite dive low on air and had drifted from the dive boat about a 1000 feet in a current drifting away turned on the strobe and they found us! A must for a nite dive!

I didnt need to use it, but when I tried it, it worked well and it didnt flood. The strobe is a great safety device that every diver hould have and this one even doubles as a small flash light.

Rating: worked well, worth it
Reviewer: Patrick Wikstrom, Monday, July 23, 2007
I had a choice of renting a personal strobe/flasher from the Galapagos dive boat ($50 for the 12 day trip)or buying this one for less than $40 at scuba.com. Seemed like a no brainer. Luckily I never got swept off Darwins Arch and on towards Cocos. But I tested both components -the strobe and regular LED flashlight- throughout the week, both at depth and on the surface. Worked great.
