Rating: Nice lite!

Just took it on a trip to Belize. Didnt use it for night diving, but just hiking and wandering around at night and it was extremely bright and lasted a very long time. It was also good for sticking in the water looking for small octopi.

Rating: Good light for size and price

This is the second Princeton Tec light Ive owned, and Ive really liked both of them. For their small size they give a good color, bright beam. My first one died because a battery leaked and corroded the internal metal, so I replaced it with another. (My only complaint is that the batteries that come with the light conked out halfway through the first dive!)

Rating: Nice Light!
Reviewer: Donald Kendrick, Thursday, April 10, 2008
This is a very nice light, compact and bright. Its a great light for a night dive, far brighter than the average three-c-cell battery lights. Its also an excellent light to carry all the time to peek into those dark holes. The locking on/off switch keeps the light off when you want it off and yet is easy to unlock and switch on with one hand. Its also an excellent back-up light for cavern, cave, and wreck divers, providing more light than the more commonly used scout-type backup lights.

Rating: Great Product
Reviewer: Joshua S., Monday, July 23, 2007 - View all my reviews
My new favorite light, it is waterproof to 600 ft, utilizes an extremely bright single LED (solid unbreakable, lifetime use), uses common AA batteries (easy to find in small towns where you may be traveling), small and compact, the on/off switch is easily operated with one hand. Bright enough to light up a large living room or other space in case of power outage. Provides a long-reaching beam of bright white light, while still casting enough light on the sides to aid your periferal vision.
I would like to see a more scratch-resistant lens (maybe hard-coated polycarbonate or even glass).

Rating: A very impressive light at a great price

The lighting power on this light is very good. It makes a secure backup light, and I use it on almost every day dive in limited viz areas to explore or to signal others. Having a switch to turn on/off was very nice instead of having to screw in the head/bulb to turn on and off. Great price, just bought another one for my wife.

Have not used it yet. Seems to have a sufficient amount of light, though.

Very good light beam. Clean light.
I needed two backup lights for wreck penetration. This is a good one to clip off in my pocket or use as a secondary beam when/if I need more light.

A great light. Lanyard long enough to always be attached to BC while still allowing mobility. Small, compact but huge amounts of light. Would recommend.

Compact, very powerful and uses common batteries. I used in the daytime and night and it was the best light I have ever used.
