Rating: 3 watt L.E.D Torch
Reviewer: Chris G., Thursday, June 07, 2007
I purchased the 3 watt L.E.D Torch as an easy to carry back up light. It has exceeded my expectations and is more of a primary light than a back up. It is small, extremely bright, has a good solid weight, a good attachment point for wearing on a harness D-ring and even has a compass built in the end. I like the fact that you can press on the end of the compass and use it to signal without having to twist on. The two lithium rechargeable batteries last plenty of time for two dives. If you are using it as a back up, you wont have to charge it very often at all. I have been very impressed thus far.

This is a excellent light for the price, it works well as a primary and makes a excellent backup. I live in Hawaii and we have very clear water so this works great for me, i had the opportunity to dive it in a silty condition not to long ago. i am sorry to say that with lots of particulate i had to turn on my canister light but hey, for the price you cannot beat this little guy. make sure you remove the screw that holds the wrist lanyard on when drying and rinsing, if you let it corrode into place you will need a pair of pliers and patience.
