I bought this light as a back up/secondary light. I didnt have high expectations, but when I used it in less than desirable visability (6), I was impressed. Its compact and doesnt get in the way when attached to my BCD.

Rating: For the wattage its good as a spare light source.

Sucks batteries up but thats no secret.
For a small compact package it puts out a decent amount of light but I wouldnt consider this as a primary light though..

If you have had bad experiences with, or otherwise do not like, backup lights that have the twist on/off mechanism, this is a good alternative. The on/off lever is small enough to not be accidentally moved and there is a even smaller positive locking peg. Yet both are conveniently operated with gloves on.

The light is great to carry with you on every dive. Fits great in a side pocket to be used as an all around light.
