Rating: Night Dive identication light
Reviewer: Peter Z., Sunday, July 12, 2009
With this yoke light you will always have a light that helps you be seen by your buddy - I use this light along with an additional ID light to give me and my buddy a different look - with some dive location not allowing the chemical light the battery ID light is necessary for night diving identification

Rating: Keep track of your Buddy
Reviewer: Peter Z., Saturday, March 07, 2009
With this light your buddy can keep track of you at night and you will always have with you - You dont have to worry about it getting abused since most dives take extra care to make sure their regulator is treated with tender loving care

Rating: Flashing Yoke Light
Reviewer: Samuel Guinto, Saturday, December 06, 2008
i purchased two red flashing yoke lights, one for myself and one for my wife. i purchased them for two purposes, for night/wreck dive visual location of my buddy and general "unique" buddy identification during normal dives (i cant alway tell which i my buddy when there are several diver around).
pros:
-easy to install (two minutes, tops!),
-replaces existing regulator/yoke threaded knob
-works great as a marker light for night and wreck dives
-flashing light is nice since your peripheral vision detects changes easier
-red color ed to minimize "blinding" in dark environments
-red stands out better in most water conditions
-simple on/off mechanism
cons:
- awkward to turn on or off with gloves or wet/slippery hands.
- definitely requires someone else to turn it on for you if you forget to do it before you put your bcd on
- in bright lighting conditions, not easy to detect if unit is on.
overall:
there were previous reviews that indicated that the threaded end of the flasher was flat instead of being pointed (which was a concern for slippage). i found that the threaded end is actually pointed and works well, but it is not as pointed as the part it replaced. i have used this product for 15+ saltwater dives so far since i purchased it in early november and have had no problems with it and i really like it.
all "cons" stated above are really just nits hence the 5 star rating. i would recommend this product to anyone interested in convenient to use marker light.

Rating: Great little light!
Reviewer: Jean S., Tuesday, March 20, 2007 - View all my reviews
This little yoke light is great for night diving or for low visiblity. We used these on a night dive recently and they were great. You could always see where your buddy was and visa-versa. I recommend the flashing type. Its a great unique gift idea for those divers in your life.

good value. effective light, easily seen at night. be careful not to over-rotate after diving to turn light off. it is prone to then open past the seal and incur water damage.
